 Video a Sunrise

 
Someone who would like to video a sunrise, from dark until full sun, that could be kept on file to use on those occasions when we have rain on Easter Sunday.  If you would be willing to get up early one morning to help us out,  call Alice Sutherlun at the church at (210) 658-3202
 
 
 
 
 

Drive to Appointments or Errands

 
Drivers needed to take church members to doctor appointments or small short errands. If you can help occasionally, please call Sandy McLeod, Susan Locke, or leave a note in the Calling and Caring Mailbox.
 
 
 

Pictorial Directory

 
Volunteers needed to do the new SUMC Pictorial Directory. Contact church office at (210) 658-3202 if interested or need more info.
 
 

Flying Colors tutors

 
Flying Colors tutors for Watts Elementary students in grades 1-4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:30 at the church.  Also, if enough people are interested and would consider assisting on Wednesdays, we might be able to expand the program to assist children from another school.  Background checks are required. Contact Barbara Ricks.
 

 

 

Adult Missions Team

 
The Adult Missions Team does many projects each year.  Team members do not go on every project and the skills needed are different for each project.  We currently have requests for projects that have the following skills needed.
  1. Volunteers who can do construction work to build a ramp.
  2. Volunteers who can help raise funds for the projects.
  3. Volunteers to paint the outside of a church.
  4. Volunteers to weld.
  5. Volunteers to do minor construction and assembly.
  6. Volunteers to sew seat covers.

SUMC Library

 
One or two volunteers are needed to work in the SUMC library a few hours, every couple of weeks.  If interested please call the church office at (210) 658-3202.
